Patricia Ryan

The Early Years

Patricia Ryan has been entertaining people with her music since she was 3 years old. It was during this time that her parents, Gary and Deveny, realized that her talent was well beyond her years. Patricia began to enter country music showdowns and jamborees and take them by storm. Her vocals and showmanship caught many by surprise and captured their hearts.

In 1997, at the age of 10, Patricia entered the 28th annual Dakota Country-Western Jamboree in Dickinson, North Dakota. Patricia took first place in her junior novice division, and then climbed to second place overall. Archie Hill, founder of the jamboree, said "It is the first time in the competition's 28 year history that this award was won by a junior novice vocalist." Patricia was one of 65 competitors and 18 finalists in the jamboree.

Patricia continues to amaze, thrill, and without question, entertain audiences all over the country and gain the attention of established country-western musicians and entertainers. In 1998, Patricia was the guest of Hee Haw's Hager Twins at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. They invited her backstage to meet and mingle with celebrities such as Steve Wariner, Porter Wagoner, Stu Phillips, Whisperin' Bill Anderson and Grandpa Jones to name a few. Below, you will find some photographs of her visit to the Grand Ole Opry and some of the celebrities she met.
